SAN FRANCISCO, March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ – SearchYourCloud (SYC) today announces that Cyclotron, Inc., a leading Microsoft Cloud Services Provider specializing in Office 365 has selected SYC’s patented federated search to enable secure access, searching and sharing on the SharePoint platform. Cyclotron’s first implementation of SearchYourCloud will be for PDF Solutions for a customizable Office 365 customer portal.
Cyclotron is a software services firm focused on collaboration and Big Data solutions for enterprise customers. Cyclotron built a customized customer portal, offering a single point of communication that PDF will use to manage all its custom projects and collaboration. Cyclotron displaced Google Enterprise in favor of Microsoft SharePoint to provide PDF Solutions with a solution that would better meet its specific security requirements and prevent data leakage while enabling simple, secure collaboration.
PDF Solutions, Inc., offering yield-improvement technologies and services for the integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing process life, has deployed the SYC SharePoint Online module for SYC’s Cloud Platform, Secure Cloud Index, Outlook Enhancement, including: SYC’s Dropbox Security & Search Plugin, Box Security & Search Plugin, Google Drive Security & Search Plugin, and OS X Desktop Client. For mobile users, PDF will enable access via iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Cyclotron is responsible for the SharePoint and OneDrive environment, which it customized for PDF, using its proprietary software consulting framework, to enable easier access to SharePoint and OneDrive functionality.
“We strongly believe a successful requirement-gathering phase is the only way to ensure a successful deployment. Our engineers use a wide number of techniques to elicit, analyze and validate requirements. After determining requirements we found SYC’s patented federated search technology to be the best fit for PDF Solutions,” said Amber Bahl, Founder & CEO, Cyclotron, Inc.
“We are excited to work with Cyclotron to provide PDF and other clients with the means to better benefit from SharePoint and OneDrive,” stated SYC CEO, Simon Bain. “Cloud service providers have a great opportunity to streamline business workflow and offer anytime, anywhere access to employees, but it’s imperative to take security measures to ensure applications and company data is not put at risk. PDF relies on SharePoint for its business-critical applications and the ability to offer an accessible, secure search. SearchYourCloud’s revolutionary search access model met the need for efficient, secure access to critical data in the cloud.”
